MCC rooms don't give you much room for error. You've got live equipment, corrosive conditions, and zero tolerance for sloppy work. That's exactly the kind of environment where material selection and routing discipline matter most.

For this job, we ran 3/4" OCAL conduit to feed a new 30A circuit for a mini split. OCAL is aluminum alloy conduit with a PVC coating - it's specifically designed to hold up in environments where standard steel would corrode over time. In a motor control center room, that's not overkill. That's just the right call.

Every bend was done on-site using a pipe threader and bending tools you can see laid out before we started. The conduit was routed cleanly along the wall, secured properly, and terminated ready for final connections. No shortcuts, no hacks. The Allen-Bradley Centerline 2100 MCC lineup in that room demands respect, and the work we put in around it reflects that.

This is the kind of job that falls squarely in our warehouse electrical work - adding circuits, routing conduit, and making sure everything is done to a standard that holds up long-term. Whether it's a new circuit in an industrial space or a full remodel wiring scope, the approach is the same. Think it through, use the right materials, and execute it clean.

The mini split connection point is capped and ready. The conduit is secured and routed with tight, clean bends. From here, it's just final connections and the space gets the climate control it needs to protect that critical equipment.
